The great Brazilian pianist Nelson Freire is hailed by critics worldwide for his ‘phenomenal technique, a mastery of his instrument that is unsurpassed and a musical sense finer than any today’.

Nelson Freire is a pianist whose name is mentioned alongside legendary artists such as Cortot, Hofmann and Rachmaninov. He appears regularly with the world’s top conductors and orchestras including the Berlin, London and New York Philharmonics and the St Petersburg Orchestra. His extensive tours include solo performance and duo recitals with Martha Argerich. His acclaimed recordings have received many prestigious awards.
